A special evening to benefit both organizations and to
raise awareness about eating disorders and female body image
issues. Friday, April 21st,
2006 6:30 PM – 8:30 PM The Upstairs Galleries at The
Warehouse Theater and Café 1021 7th Street, NW,
Washington, DC (Enter through the door to the
right of the café) Featuring
selections from last fall’s world premiere production of Horizon Theatre’s The Body Project. Additionally, members of ANAD will be
present to discuss an annual candlelight vigil, “Voices - Not Bodies,” taking
place on the Mall on Saturday, April 22. Requested
donation - $25 ($15 for students) at the door. Light refreshments will be served, and
attendants will receive one complimentary drink with a cash bar available
